Fairy Sweetness and a new Marianne Designs Oval Die CR1241

Oh, i am so very excited..i am using this sweet, sweet die set...and not only that..but i get to use 4 different die shapes..so 4 different blog posts...i will start with the Oval #CR1241.

You just can't believe the versatility of this die set and all 4 of the dies from this release on
Dutch Paper Crafts.   For each post you could do any of these cards just changing out the shape.

Remember you can get this die and most of the dies i used on my blog at Dutch Paper Crafts and her prices are hard to beat...and not only that so is her shipping costs..

So a bit about what i did.  First, i cut out the large oval lace die with the large oval to get this oval shape.  Then i used the small oval lace frame to make the fairy.  What is nice about these dies is you can fussy cut images from paper because the inside of the die is open.  (Check out what the die looks like and you will see what i mean).  I also used Glossy Accents from Inkessentials to give the small lace oval a jewel pin look. The cream lace strip B136 is from Cheery Lynn and so is the white lace DL 134 below it.   The sentiment came from a book i purchased at a Christian book store.   I just tore out the page and tore the edges. I bought the flowers from Michaels, Archivers and Wild Orchid.

  1. A stunning card. The colors and image are so soft and ethereal. Those dies create the perfect setting for the elements of this card. Also LUV the sentiment that you've used.
