A little bit of green Burlap and Marianne Design Circle Die CR1239

I told you this release from Dutch Paper Crafts was going to be fun..this is the Marianne Design CR1239  Circle version...and you can just see how much fun these dies are.

I will remind you in each post how you can really save a lot of money if you purchase these dies from Dutch Paper Crafts..go check out the blog site and see what i mean!  To buy the bundle of all 4 dies in this release you will always get a good price!!!

What i did for this card..was to cut through the front of the card using a circle die and then i cut out the lace window using both the lace circle die and the regular circle die together..then i used some twine similar to a yarn and knotted it to keep the strings together at 4 spots around the circle.  I used Marianne creatables LR0246 for the bird house, bird and the ivy leaves.  In this case i cut the leaves out 4 times to make the circle.   I used some Wild Orchid flowers and made my bow.   I also used the large Cuttlebug Honeycomb embossing folder.  By using white core paper i could make the embossed design stand out and match the lacy circle.

  1. This is a beautiful card. Your post does not do it justice because the inside (that can be seen through the opening) isn't really shown. The green "burlap" that is on the inside and shows through your opening is what really makes this card unique and different. People really need to watch the DPC video to see the full beauty of this card!

  2. Bonnie, your entire release is just gorgeous! But this one is my personal favorite, I love, love, love the combination of circle, lace, the honey comb, the color choices, the idea that it really is a window card, I could go on and on and on! Wonderful work, love it!!! Jenee is absolutely correct, the videos are a must see!
